The Monthly Junk started in 2013, as Sarah Adams and Maggie Rieth Austin sat in front of an old couch in the Dallas Comedy House lobby and laughed and laughed at how hilarious they were. Before too long, they put up a camera and filmed some bits. Ever since that day, they have been making each other laugh on and off camera.

As a duo, The Monthly Junk has written, produced, and performed in comedy both on screen and on the stage. Sarah and Maggie also bring their own experience as advertisers, marketers, actors, comedians, filmmakers, and, of course, besties, which make every collaboration a unique and delightful experience.
